Stamford International University (Thailand)
The majority of our international students apply from abroad. This process can seem complicated at first but is, in fact, very simple. We make it our goal to ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible for all our applicants. Each step in the admission process, from application to arrival, is explained below.
Applications can be submitted via the online application form OR via email, by sending the required documents to one of our counselors. Once your application has been registered, you will be assigned a counselor who will send a confirmation via email.
Eligible applicants will advance to the 2nd step in the application process, which is an admission interview. During the interview, the applicant’s background, motivation and English proficiency are assessed by a faculty member or senior admissions counselor. Interviews can be done in person at one of our campuses or online.
Applicants who are accepted to the university will receive a Letter Conditional of Acceptance (offer letter), via email, which confirms the acceptance and lists the program details. Application processing time is 1-2 weeks.
An invoice for the first term fees will be attached to the conditional acceptance letter, listing payment and bank details. Please see Payment Methods for more details.
As soon as a payment has been confirmed, the admissions will be confirmed. Upon admissions to the university, students will be issued a Letter of Acceptance. The letter is commonly sent via email. If the original letter is required for a visa application, the documents will be sent via postal mail.
Before starting the admissions process, please make sure you are aware of the rules for your country. You can read more about visa matters under the Student Visa section or contact the International Admissions Department. Students may also contact the nearest Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate for more details.
The visa processing time varies from country to country. Hence, students are recommended to apply as early as possible.
