Recently, the students of Ramkhamhaeng Advent International School, Bangkok participated in a workshop on ‘Evaluating the health of a nation – key macroeconomic indicators’ organized by Stamford’s Department of Finance and Accounting. The objective of the workshop was to impart financial literacy to the budding minds. This endeavor was made to develop practical skills of the students. It helped them in applying the concepts of economics through hands-on learning. The students searched and analyzed the key macroeconomic indicators like exchange rate (vs USD), gross domestic product (GDP), per capita income and stock index of a chosen country at Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab by using the relevant functions.
