Ms. Norman is a graduate of the University of Kansas, USA. Her undergraduate major was in the Classics (a study of the Greek and Latin languages and the history and archaeology of ancient Greece and Rome). After graduating, she returned to university for a degree in secondary education with a minor in English. Her Master’s degree, from California State University, is in the humanities, with an emphasis on literature.
