Doctor of Education Program in Educational Administration

The 3-year Ed.D. program is a full-time study program in a dynamic interactive learning environment. The program employs international perspectives and cross-cultural experiences to enhance the capability of education practitioners to model and transmit best education practice to others. Learn with experienced faculty members from many countries including China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and USA. At Stamford, you have opportunities to meet, hear from, and be instructed by local and international educational researchers and, with a chance to have domestic or overseas seminars or workshops.

 

Flexible Study Schedule:
Study in Bangkok and have opportunity to arrange your own study schedule.

 

Study Plan:
The program provides coursework and dissertation hybrid study plan:

  • Plan 2.1 – Coursework and Dissertation (required coursework 8 credits, elective coursework 7 credits and dissertation 45 credits) total 60 credits.

Admission Criteria

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with a GPA of minimum 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
  • Complete an entrance exam and sit for an admission interview, in order to be accepted to the Doctor of Education in Educational Administration (Ed.D.) program. *(This program does not apply for the Thai Teachers’ Council’ s approval)

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution, and official transcripts
  • Copy of passport
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)/ Resume
  • English/Chinese proficiency test scores (if any)
  • Three recent passport-sized photographs (taken within last 3 months)
