Doctor of Philosophy Program in Educational Administration and Leadership

The 3-year Ph.D. E.A.L. program is a full-time study program in a dynamic interactive learning environment. The program employs international perspectives and cross-cultural experiences to give students an in-depth understanding of global education, leadership, and help students improve education research skills. Learn with experienced faculty members from many countries including China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, USA, and UK. At Stamford, learners have opportunities to learn, discuss, and be instructed by local and international education leaders, with a chance to participate in international conferences, research projects, and seminars.

 

Flexible Study Schedule:
Study in Bangkok and have opportunity to arrange your own study schedule.

 

Study Plan:
The program provides a coursework and dissertation hybrid study:

  • Plan 2.1 – Coursework and Research (Dissertation): required foundation and professional courses 8 credits, elective courses 7 credits and dissertation 50 credits total minimum 65 credits.

Admission Criteria

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with a GPA of minimum 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
  • Complete an entrance exam and sit for an admission interview, in order to be accepted to the Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration and Leadership (Ph.D. EAL) program. *(This program does not apply for the Thai Teachers’ Council’s approval)

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution, and official transcripts
  • Copy of passport
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)/ Resume
  • English/Chinese proficiency test scores (if any)
  • Three recent passport-sized photographs (taken within last 3 months)
