แบบสองภาษา

Student Profiles
Hannah
International Program
Hannah is from Vietnam. She took the Stamford English test and was placed in EAP200. She is not Thai, so she will take the international program.
She will study English 24 hours a week for 12 weeks. Her English will improve a lot–especially her speaking.
After that, she will start taking her major classes. She will get good grades because she can understand everything her teachers tell her in English.
She will also be very confident when she gives her classroom presentations in English.
Siriporn
Bilingual Program
Siriporn is from Thailand. She took the Stamford English placement test and got EAP200.
She is Thai, loves to study, works very hard, and always gets good grades.
Because she is a great student, she can take her English courses and her major courses at the same time.
She will study English 12 hours a week, and she will take 2 major courses taught in Thai.
She will have to work very hard, but she will enjoy getting university credits while also studying English.
Arthit
International Program
Arthit is Thai and placed in EAP200. He likes school, but he also has many other hobbies.
It would be difficult for him to study English, take classes in his major, and enjoy his hobbies.
He also thinks English is very important, and he wants to be sure that he learns it very well.
Because of that, he will take the international program. He will study English 24 hours a Week for 1 term–then take his major courses.
He will be successful in his major because he focused on learning English before taking his major classes.
Admissions Criteria
Academic Entry Requirement
- IGCSE / GCSE / GCE O-levels Certificate with no less than C grade
- IGCSE / GCSE / GCE A-levels Certificate with no less than 3 subjects
- Test of General Educational Development (GED) with minimum 145 points in all 4 subjects, along with the high school equivalency diploma.
- IB certificate with minimum 5 subjects with a minimum score of 4.
- IB Diploma with minimum 24 points
- Mathayom 6 with academic transcript and graduation certificate.
- Students who hold a different qualification are recommended to contact the university to check their eligibility.

- Apply at Stamford International University (Rama 9 and Petchaburi Campus).
Application Process for Thai students
Transfer Requirement
The credit transfer guidelines and criteria are as follows:
- Credits must be transferred only once, at the time of admission.
- Requests for transfer of credits after the admission period will not be accepted.
- Three quarters (75%) of the course content has to be equivalent to that specified in Stamford’s curriculum.
- Only courses with an earned grade “C” or higher will be accepted as transferred credit.
The maximum number of transferable credits is 108 provided all requirements are met. - Each credit transferred must have had 15 classroom hours or equivalent, which is 45 hours for one course.
- Submission of course curriculum along with official transcript is required to process a transfer.
Documents Required to Process a Transfer
- A filled undergraduate application form
- High school academic records (please see Admission Requirements for specifications)
- Official university transcripts including all courses requested to be transferred
- Course curriculum of courses requested to be transferred
- Copy of passport or citizen ID + house registration (Thai nationals)
- IELTS/TOEFL (meriting but not required)
- A recent passport-sized photograph
